- Eligibility: Open to individuals of 18 years and above. Participants must register in advance, No walk-ins accepted on the day of contest.
- Entry: Each participant can submit only one salad. Salads must be prepared at the competition venue.
- Categories:
- Traditional Salads - Creative/Innovative Salads Protein Salads (e.g.,with Paneer, tofu, beans etc.)
- Fruit salad
- Ingredients: Participant should bring all the ingredients from home. No store-bought salads allowed, All the Vegetables should be chopped at the venue at the day of contest. Participant must bring their tools like chopping board, Knives, peeler, shredder etc.
- Presentation: Salads must be ready for judging by a specific time. Participants will have a designated time to set up their salads. Each participant must bring own plate for presentation. Salads should be presented in a clean, appropriate plate.

Judging Criteria:
- Taste: Overall flavor & Balance of flavors (sweet, salty, sour, bitter)
- Texture: Variety of textures (crunchy, chewy, tender) and Proper preparation (not over or under cooked ingredients)
- Creativity: Originality and innovation & Unique use of ingredients
- Presentation: Visual appeal & Cleanliness and arrangement

Judging:
- Salad will be Judged by Independent Judges and Judges' decisions are final.
- Each salad will be judged on the criteria listed above.
